Hi, I’m Cassandra, the heart behind Studio Figueroa.

I’m a Los Angeles-based photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, and family photography, with a deep love for capturing the quiet, meaningful moments that often go by too quickly.

My approach is soft, natural, and guided. I believe the most beautiful images come from feeling comfortable, not posed, from connection, not perfection.

Whether you’re stepping into motherhood for the first time, welcoming a new baby, or simply wanting to freeze a fleeting season with your family, my goal is to create a space where you can slow down and be present. The result is imagery that feels timeless, emotional, and true to you.

Why I Do This

Photography, for me, has always been about more than just how something looks, it’s about how it feels.

There’s something sacred about the in-between moments:

a hand resting on your growing belly,

a newborn curled into your arms,

a child reaching for you without thinking.

These are the moments that become memories, and the ones we wish we could hold onto just a little longer.
